1st cake

This is the first cake that I actually made for someone. My best friend Tiffany was hosting a bridal shower for her cousin and trusted me enough to let me make the cake. Keep in mind that she had never seen a cake I had made, and I had only baked one other cake prior to this. Being the perfectionist that I am I spent what seemed like days on this cake. To this day, this cake is still one of my favorites.

getting started

I have found my niche! It took me 26 years but I finally found something I enjoy doing. To many people's surprise, I took up baking and cake decorating. This attempt at another hobby has led to what may become an unexpected business opportunity. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and I hope to have a bakery open in a year. I'll keep you informed and I'll post all of my cakes.
